About this nursery

Arkan Al-Baraem Center for Private Childcare is located in Tuwaiq, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It holds an average rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars based on 46 user reviews, indicating a generally positive perception with some notable concerns. The center has been described by some parents as an "outstanding center" that is "full of creativity, care, education, and entertainment." Praise is often directed towards a "distinguished group of teachers" and an "exceptionally kind and professional principal, Maryam." Many appreciate the center for being "beautiful, tidy, and clean." Specific staff members, such as Ms. Nada, the head of the nursery department, have been commended for their "care and attention," with parents noting that their children engage in various "activities and skills" appropriate for their age, leading to significant development. These positive experiences often highlight a commitment to nurturing children's growth and providing a supportive environment. However, a portion of the reviews also reveal significant issues. Some parents have observed a "lack of innovation in the activities," describing them as "silly, not appropriate for their age, and repetitive." The teaching methods have been criticized as "traditional," relying on "a pen and a blackboard," which some found insufficient for developing skills. Concerns were raised about the center being "economical in terms of activities and resources," leading to children feeling "bored." More critically, some reviews detail serious health and hygiene issues. One parent reported their daughter being sick almost constantly, including "two bouts of gastroenteritis in one month" and multiple fevers. This parent expressed concerns about the center's hygiene practices and lack of isolation for sick children. Issues with staff professionalism were also highlighted, with one instance describing a young trainee inadequately changing a child's diaper without proper hygiene protocols. These experiences led some parents to strongly advise against sending children to the center, citing a "terrifying" daycare experience due to perceived neglect of health and safety standards. Arkan Al-Baraem Center operates from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and is closed on Friday and Saturday. While aiming to offer a distinguished and caring environment, potential patrons should consider the mixed feedback regarding activity quality and hygiene.

The center is very beautiful, tidy and clean. Many thanks to Ms. Nada, head of the nursery department. Thank you for her care and attention with my daughter. Praise be to God, she does activities and skills for them according to their ages. I see that my child has developed a lot thanks to God’s grace and then to the teacher. Praise be to God, I always see her very concerned about all the children. Special thanks to her, Ms. Nada ❤️ I recommend the center 👌

I registered my children at the center and noticed that there was no innovation in the activities, and if there were, they were silly, not appropriate for their age, and repetitive. As for teaching and learning, they are satisfied with a pen and a blackboard, which is a traditional method. My observation about the center is that they do not spend a lot of money on activities. They are very economical in terms of activities and resources. The children are really bored. We pay fees, but in return, we want you to provide activities that develop their skills.

I tried them for the first month, and it was okay, especially since they take pictures, but even the pictures are terrible. My daughter would leave their office upset and crying, and I attributed it to exhaustion. But the second month was a complete shock! I couldn't even finish it. For two consecutive months, not a single day went by without my daughter being sick. Can you believe she had two bouts of gastroenteritis in one month?! And three times she had a fever and got sick, in addition to the gastroenteritis. I spoke to them more than once, telling them to isolate the children, to sterilize them, to do this or that, but it was like they weren't listening. My daughter's shoes were always on her feet from the moment she arrived until she left, and they wouldn't take them off the same way I did. And the worst part is, there were problems with the staff, and the mothers got involved. They brought in a young trainee girl, and her mother and sister were with her, teaching her how to handle my daughter! I walked in and found her lying on the floor with nothing underneath her, changing her diaper. When she saw me, I scolded her, and she lifted her onto the changing table and started changing her diaper without even washing her! My advice to any mother who cares about her children: don't send her there. I'm even thinking of quitting my job rather than putting her there again. And, God forbid, I didn't even finish my subscription. Believe me, you have no idea what happens, but their daycare is terrifying.
