Hope School for Special Needs

Hope School for Special Needs, established in 2006, is a private international and bilingual institution located in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is dedicated to serving children and young adults with intellectual developmental disorders and neuro-developmental disorders. The school specializes in preschool to elementary age children, accepting students from 3 to 18 years old, diagnosed with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, PDD (Pervasive Developmental Disorder), ADHD, and general learning delays. The school employs the American educational system, specifically utilizing the High Scope/Ability-Based curriculum from the USA, combined with best practices from Special Education and Behavioral Psychology. Instruction is provided in both English and Arabic, and the school operates with a mixed-gender student body. Hope School aims to maximize the strengths and capabilities of its students across all developmental areas—intellectual, social, emotional, and physical—within a safe, secure, and nurturing environment, supported by highly qualified staff and specialists.
