Kortoba Preschool

Kortoba Preschool (KPS), a well-established institution in Kuwait City, has been serving children since 1977. Our mission is to build confidence and a love for learning, providing a solid foundation for a healthy and happy life, with a strong emphasis on motor and life skills. We are committed to offering a warm, loving, safe, positive, and fun environment that promotes healthy development across social, emotional, physical, and intellectual domains. KPS caters to children aged 2 to 4.5 years, guided by a Lifeways-based curriculum and supported by a low student-to-teacher ratio. Our flexible program encourages independence, self-expression, and respect, ensuring every child feels included. Beyond academic fundamentals, KPS offers a rich array of activities, including songs, nursery rhymes, drama workshops, and organized team sports to develop gross motor skills and creativity. We expand children's understanding of the world through enrichment activities and engaging field trips to local places like working firms, an ice cream factory, and fire stations. Our facilities feature an exceptionally large and spacious classroom area, designed with different sections that still allow for open play and cooperation among various age groups, preventing social barriers. A wide selection of books, from nursery rhymes to picture books, is available for parents to check out weekly, fostering early literacy at home. Under the direction of Mrs. Maggie Al-Wazzan, Kortoba Preschool values parental involvement, welcoming feedback and offering seminars to support children's development. We strive to provide quality care and maximize learning potential during these formative years.
