Children's House Montessori, nestled in the heart of Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, offers a foundational Montessori education for children from 45 days to 5 years old. Established in 2015, the nursery is committed to delivering exceptional standards based on Montessori principles, focusing on quality and a child-centric approach. The environment is designed to foster independence, confidence, and curiosity, aligning with Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy. The nursery provides a secure and happy structured environment across different age groups. 'Baby Monty’s' caters to infants aged 45 days to 15 months, offering a secure space for sensory, physical, and cognitive development, supported by a dedicated nurse. The 'Infant Community' serves children from 15 months to 2.6 years, introducing them to Montessori materials and activities that build confidence, cooperation, and independence. Older children, from 2.6 to 5 years, become 'Little Montessorians' in classrooms designed for freedom within structure, guided by qualified Montessori teachers. Children's House Montessori prides itself on its spacious open-plan classrooms, which are well-resourced with extensive Montessori materials that inspire natural curiosity. The staff are described as caring, professional, friendly, and dedicated, fostering a strong sense of community. The nursery aims to create positive partnerships with parents, celebrate diversity, and instill a love for learning, self-direction, and motivation in every child. While the nursery is highly regarded for its educational approach and nurturing atmosphere, some feedback points to areas for improvement such as event organization, cultural sensitivity in event planning, bathroom privacy, and the need for more assistant teachers.

I would describe my overall experience with this nursery as very good , especially in terms of the environment and educational approach. The nursery follows the Montessori method, offering children a variety of sensory and developmental activities that are both engaging and beneficial. One of the most positive aspects is how they encourage children to be independent and confident, supporting their self-care and decision-making skills from an early age. The care provided is of a solid standard, and I genuinely felt that my child was in safe and trusted hands. However, considering the (very high tuition fees), our expectations were understandably higher—particularly when it comes to (events and parent-involved activities). Most celebrations lacked basic organization: there were (no chairs) provided for parents, no (proper sound system), and we found ourselves standing throughout the events, which diminished the overall experience. One of the most disappointing moments was during this year’s *Mother’s Day event*, which coincided with *Ramadan*. The nursery served breakfast *during the day*, without regard for the customs of the holy month in a Muslim country. This lack of cultural sensitivity was both surprising and disappointing. Additionally, over two full terms, I did not observe significant academic progress in my daughter’s literacy or early math skills. I believe there is room for improvement in the academic structure and support within the classroom. Another area that requires improvement is the (bathroom and washing facilities) . The current setup lacks sufficient (privacy for the children), which is essential for building their sense of comfort and independence. Additionally, the overall design and condition of the facilities could benefit from (upgrades to make them more child-friendly, hygienic, and developmentally appropriate). Enhancing this aspect would significantly contribute to the children's overall well-being and daily experience at the nursery. Lastly, the nursery should consider assigning more *assistant teachers*, especially when the main teacher is absent for an extended period—as was the case in our class for nearly a full term. While I appreciate many aspects of the nursery, I hope these points are taken constructively to enhance the overall experience for both children and their families. Special thanks to Teacher Sheila and Teacher Farah for their kindness, care, and dedication to the children.

Both of my children attended Children’s House Montessori over a total period of 4 years. Our experience has been incredible. From the very first day we felt completely at ease and knew that our children were in good hands. The staff are truly amazing - friendly, warm and welcoming, encouraging such a strong sense of community within the nursery. Every single member of staff knows each child by name and it feels like one big family. Both of my children enjoyed their time here immensely. I cannot recommend it highly enough as an entry point to education and for developing social skills. The nursery has consistently kept its standard extremely high and it shows.

My son has been at CHM nursery for two wonderful years, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The Montessori environment helped him grow into a confident, independent, and curious learner. The teachers are caring, professional, and truly understand each child’s needs. We’ve seen such positive development in his social and academic skills. Thank you for giving him such a beautiful start to his learning journey!

We’re really happy with our daughter’s experience at the nursery. Her teacher, Ms. Izabella, and her assistant, Ms. Mariah, have been incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. Our daughter has settled in so well, and it's clear how comfortable she feels with them and how excited she gets when she arrives at the nursery. Returning to work after seven months was a big transition for me, but knowing she is so happy and well looked after every day has made it so much easier. One of the things we really appreciate is the wide range of activities they offer in the baby class. From sensory play and music to outdoor time and creative activities, everything is thoughtfully planned to support the children’s development. We've already noticed how much more sociable and curious our daughter has become. The daily updates and photos are also something we really look forward to. It’s so lovely to see what she’s been doing and how engaged and happy she is during the day. We truly feel lucky to have such a caring team supporting our daughter’s early learning and development.
